Cody Setzer is currently pursuing his dream as an artist living in Dana Point, California. Born and raised in Southern California, he specializes in watercolor and focuses on original paintings, traditional design and custom merchandise. 

At a young age, Cody began developing a connection with the ocean and started studying, drawing and painting waves. He learned to admire the consistent fluidity of the ocean and began pushing ink like water as a means of connecting with something greater than oneself. For him, art is much more than the representation of overcoming great struggles, strength and peace; it is a purposeful medium to learn from, allowing him to appreciate the beauty around him. 

Cody is heavily influenced by his surrounding environment, the interwoven patterns observed in elements of nature and clean, effortless structure. He looks to honor his upbringing and the community that has supported him by reflecting the cultures that continue to inspire him within his work: music, tough American traditional and bold Japanese tattoos, hot rods, motorcycles, surf and skate; and aspires to combine these cultures with his growing passion for color and harmonious design.
